Reminder to residents.

There has been an incident in the village of a 'walk-in' burglary, where a handbag was taken that had been left on a chair.
All residents are reminded to lock doors even when they are in or in the back garden.  Remember to shut windows, especially the downstairs ones, when going out even if only for a short while.
This advice is particularly applicable during the warm weather.
