Walk-in burglary.
On Thursday 6th May at around 2.00pm, a house on Birstall Road (close to the council office) suffered a 'walk-in burglary'. The occupant was in the property at the time, but was busy elsewhere in the house and had not secured the rear entrance to the kitchen area. A handbag containing credit cards etc was stolen.Where you in this area around this time? Did you see anyone hanging around or acting suspiciously? Please report any information on (0116) 2222222.
