Theft of Catalytic Converters from vehicles.

We are aware that the theft of these units from vehicles has increased recently. At least two incidents have occurred within a mile of Birstall in the last week and took place in broad daylight on busy car parks.
It would appear that the favourite targets are vehicles with a higher ground clearance, 4 x 4 vehicles and Ford Galaxy in particular.
Be aware. If you see any suspicious activity around any vehicle, please report it immediately.
