Car could be key to Birstall burglary.

Officers investigating a burglary in Birstall hope that a car stolen during the incident will lead them to those responsible.
The incident happened sometime between 4pm on Saturday February 4 and 3.30pm the following day, Sunday February 5, in Loughborough Road.
A window at the back of the house was forced open and a television, laptop and a gold brooch with a heart centrepiece was taken from inside.
Also taken was a grey Volkswagen Golf, vehicle registration NG58 NYV.Police hope that members of the public will be able to help them confirm the current whereabouts of the stolen vehicle.
Detective Constable Glen Reid, the investigating officer, said: “Although none of the stolen items have been recovered since the burglary we believe that locating the car is imperative to this investigation and I would urge anyone with information to call us.
“Perhaps you have been offered the car to buy? Maybe you know someone who has recently acquired it or you have seen it parked in the area you live? If so please call us and help us with our inquiries.
“I would also like to talk to anyone who knows anything about the burglary or the people responsible.”
Anyone with any information is asked to contact DC 2061 Glen Reid on 101, follow the instructions to leave a message for a police officer and when prompted key in the officer’s identification number 2061. Alternatively, contact Crimestoppers, which is free* and anonymous, on 0800 555 111.
