Nuisance telephone call.

One of our members has called to report an aggressive telephone call she received. The caller referred to 'Home Energy Efficiency', and wanted to make an appointment to visit the property. No name of any company was given and when questioned the caller became very aggressive. At one point, in answer to a question, he said "You answer my questions".
Our advice is; If you receive an unwanted call, simply put down the phone straightaway. There is no necessity to talk to, or even be polite, to cold callers (especially those who don't tell you who they are !).
