Burglary - Copeland Road

Police are appealing for witnesses following the report of a burglary at a property in Copeland Road Birstall.
The incident happened between 12am and 7am on Tuesday June 30, when the victim woke to find items from a downstairs room had been taken.
Entry had been gained by the suspect through a back window to the property. They then made their escape in the victims silver BMW, 320ISE, vehicle registration, FP51 WX U.
Also taken during the burglary was a black LG plasma television, a Nintendo Wii and games, a diamond engagement ring and a wedding ring, 2 Sony Ericsson mobile phones, a laptop, a digital camera and a camcorder.

PC Phil Porter, the officer investigating the incident, said: “There have been a lot of expensive items taken from the property and we are keen to get these back to their owners.

“If you were in the Copeland Road area on the morning of June 30 and can remember seeing anything suspicious then we want to hear from you.

“It may be that you have been approached by someone trying to sell you any of the items mentioned or that you have seen the vehicle since the incident. Any information you have, no matter how insignificant it may seem, it could help us with our investigation.”
